Description

A very special professional shot from the “THE SEVENTH ONE” era has been decided to be released. What’s special about it is the cover. It is a one-of-a-kind show that brings out extremely rare covers one after another. Such a special gig was realized on “March 29, 1988 Stockholm”. A night in Northern Europe during “THE SEVENTH ONE WORLD TOUR”. There was also a large-scale performance in Japan on this tour, but first of all, let’s understand the position of this show from the schedule at that time. [“THE SEVENTH ONE” released on March 1st]・February 24th – April 3rd: Europe (28 performances)←★Here★・April 18th – May 1st: Asia (11 performances)・5 July 27th – July 1st: North America (10 performances) July 3rd: Copenhagen performance July 22nd: North Dakota performance This is the overall picture of the world tour. The Stockholm performance of this work was the 25th gig of the “European” leg that decorates the beginning. That said, this show is quite different from what you might imagine as a so-called concert. It was a small club where the members had to be able to move around, and we were taking one-shot shots of the venue being set up. Although the background of the show is unknown, its quality is wonderful. Although it is not the type of broadcast or official release, the bold zoom is definitely a professional shot taken by the staff. You can even use the official bonus footage from history DVDs and box sets…you can enjoy about 84 minutes of this type of visual beauty. And what is special is the show itself. A total of 13 songs will be played, but only two are original: “The Seventh One” and “Hold the Line.” The rest are all covers of famous songs. The lineup is also amazing. Some of them include “Red House” which can be heard elsewhere, but other than that there are only numbers that are surprising that they were played. Starting with THE SPENCER DAVIS GROUP’s “Gimme Some Lovin'”, the Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, SLY & THE FAMILY STONE, THE CHAMPS, FOUR TOPS, etc. It also features the standard “Tabacco Road”, which was played at the Japan tour with Edgar Winter. Most of them are extremely rare live performances only on this day. And the performance of that special gig is also wonderful. As you might expect from a group of craftsmen, it doesn’t feel like they’re playing around with the usual techniques. Of course, there are some free jams, but each song is played with a solid performance that is not just a random idea, and while being relaxed, it makes the audience sing. Also, supporting member Warren Hamm played an unexpectedly big role. Of course, Joseph Williams also holds the microphone, but his voice is terrible. Warren is taking over the lead singer position with all his might. The way she sings with such passion is dignified and shows that she can perform well as a singer. This is an indescribably valuable version of TOTO. Anyway, it’s special in every way. In fact, it is part of “THE SEVENTH ONE TOUR”, but this special feeling is timeless. A valuable video that allows you to witness a one-night-only club gig that you can never experience anywhere else with a long professional shot lasting approximately 84 minutes.
