This is a gem of a gem, recorded from the broadcast sound source of the live performance held in Tokyo on May 28th from the 1980 performance in Japan with familiar members. In the background are Richard Tee and Steve Gadd, and on guitar is Carlos Rios, who also participated in Toshio Kadomatsu and Sadao Watanabe’s albums at the time, showing off his wonderful technique. The bass player is Neil Steubenhaus, a great bassist from the West Coast who has participated in many sessions and has a good reputation. Moreover, this album is a wonderful item that jazz fusion fans can enjoy, including the fact that the sound source recorded on the sound board is used as the master!
