The performance at Chicago’s Bismarck Theater on October 26th from the 1985 “A Cappella” tour was recorded on a stereo soundboard from the broadcast master. While we have previously been able to hear a few songs on the “King Biscuit” radio show, this is the complete version, including previously unreleased numbers. Aside from Todd’s keyboard, the live performance features a cappella versions with the “voices” of the backing singers, and includes hits such as “Real Man” and “Can We Still Be Friends” as well as a medley of Marvin Gaye songs, all of which are full of humanity and are recorded in the best quality possible. 01.
