Description
In 1991, Bowie temporarily put his solo career on hold and formed a band to create a sound, but the band’s activities were short-lived. This is a complete recording of the live performance at the Riviera Theater in Chicago on December 7th from the 1991 US tour, using stereo soundboard recordings from the broadcast master. Unlike Bowie’s solo performances, the performance was simple and straightforward, emphasizing the band ensemble. Although he put all of his own songs on hold and sought a new path with a band sound, it was considered a commercial failure, but now that he has passed away, his meticulously calculated and refined songs and performances are being reevaluated once again. Two months later, he also toured Japan for a long period, making this a must-have collector’s edition for those who knew that time. DISC ONE : 01. Crack city / 02. Bus stop / 03. A big hurt / 04.
