The eighth performance of the 2024 solo Japan tour “EVERYTHING”, the third day in Tokyo, was held at the Tokyo Garden Theater on November 23rd, and was recorded in full with a multi-stereo IEM matrix. This edition includes a DVD with a high-quality audience shot of the live performance on that day. First, the different stereo IEM sources that Tom used on stage were mixed with the digital audience source in an exquisite balance to create a multi-IEM matrix, and the direct and clear sound unique to stereo line sound sources and the hybrid sound that conveys the heat of the sold-out venue to the fullest extent were perfectly reproduced without the click and guide that is typical of IEM sound sources. Furthermore, the DVD footage from the digital camera is a stable and good shot from start to finish with no obstacles from the front row of the front stand, and the audio part is synchronized with the multi-IEM matrix source of the CD, and the quality, including the audio, is a world apart from fragmented footage on YouTube and the like. After performing great shows in Fukuoka, Hiroshima, and Nagoya, he returned to Tokyo and performed a series of songs based on guitar and piano, sometimes using synths, rhythm machines, and effects, such as Radiohead, Atmos for Peace, and solo numbers mainly from “Anima,” as if to summarize his extensive career. As with the previous two Tokyo shows, Radiohead songs were the axis of the set, which was also a nice composition, and this day also started with “The Eraser,” and performed a total of 22 songs, including four encore songs, for a full two hours with high tension from start to finish.
