Description

A shocking first appearance of a super valuable sound source in UK punk history! The band was formed in 1976, four months after its formation, and according to records, the band’s fourth gig was their live performance at London’s 100 Club on August 31st, which was recorded at 37 minutes and 29 seconds with the finest audience recording at the time. Completely uncut recording. A master cassette from a recorder who was in England at the time was used, and the raw yet high quality of the recording was astounding. The guitar begins with “Deny,” which starts with the energetic chants of “1, 2, 3, 4,” and is an extremely valuable document of the very early stages of the five-piece Clash, which included Keith Levine, making it an inevitable collector’s item. First-class sound source released with limited numbering! 01.Opening / 02.Deny / 03.1-2 Crush On You / 04.I Know What To Think About You / 05.I Never Did It / 06.How Can I Understand The Flies / 07.Protex Blue / 08.Janie Jones / 09.Mark Me Absent / 10.Deadly Serious / 11.48 Hours / 12.I’m So Bored With You / 13.What’s My Name / 14.1977 [Recorded Live at 100 Club,London,UK 31st August 1976] Joe Strummer (Vocal ,Guitar) / Mick Jones (Vocal,Guitar) / Keith Levenes (Vocal,Guitar) / Paul Simonon (Bass) / Terry Chimes (Drums)
