Regarding the *Rubber Soul* entry in this “Alternate Album Collection,” the release is split into two editions—*Rubber Soul: Sessions* and *Rubber Soul: Versions*—with details as follows. DISC 1: MULTITRACK NEW REMIX ALBUM + SINGLES + INSTRUMENTALS. This disc contains all 14 tracks from the original album, two non-album singles, and instrumental versions of every album track. The first 14 tracks feature new stereo remixes created using AI-assisted demixing technology to isolate vocals and backing vocals, as well as individual instrument tracks, which are then reconstructed into a new stereo mix. Distinct from previous official stereo mixes or remasters, this new mix offers clear separation between lead and backing vocals. It also delivers a clearer sound image for each instrument and features a fresh arrangement of guitar and drum placement, all presented via the latest updated stereo remix audio. The instrumental section in the latter half focuses specifically on the Beatles’ performances; these tracks are not merely the originals with the vocals removed but feature fresh edits derived from the multitrack masters, with rebalanced instrumentation and stereo separation. Discs 2 & 3: The Studio Recording Sessions. These discs present—in near-chronological order—recordings that document the album’s production process from October 12 through November 1965, compiling both previously released material and existing session tapes that had remained unreleased. Utilizing the latest editing techniques, the audio quality has been enhanced; furthermore, many tracks that previously existed only in mono are presented here in newly created stereo mixes for the first time. These tracks employ advanced “demixing” technology that goes beyond simple vocal/instrumental separation; the stereo remixes—derived from the multitrack masters—isolate individual vocal lines as well as specific overdubbed backing vocals and instruments.
