My Father’s Place sound source recorded in June 1978 with a good mono audience recording is now available as an upgraded edition with the latest digital transfer and remastering! The precious and rare recording of the gig held at My Father’s Place in New York on June 9, 1978, which was recorded in good mono audience recording, was released on the same label as “MY FATHER’S PLACE 1978 (TOTH1058)”. This work is re-released as an upgraded edition with a new master sound source digitally transferred from the master and recorded with even clearer sound quality by the latest remastering! The live performance from this period is known as the official version “THE BLOW UP” released only on cassette in 1982, and although the sound quality is a mono recording with a similar texture, it has a slightly more three-dimensional grainy sound quality than “THE BLOW UP”, which had a flat sound quality, and the remastering allows you to enjoy a clear sound with good clarity in both the high and low ranges. It was an amazing performance, with not only the highlight “Marquee Moon” but also a supreme performance that reached a climax with a tense thread from beginning to end! Don’t miss “Glory” and “Careful” that are not included in “THE BLOW UP”! The last song, “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”, is from a different source, but it is recorded in stereo with very clear sound quality, making it a must-have superb sound source for television freaks!
