Description
TEDESCHI TRUCKS BAND has put an end to their world tour at the end of last month. The latest pro shot is now available. This work was filmed at “Morrison Performance on July 26, 2019.” This is a multi-camera professional shot that recorded a show held at Red Rocks Outdoor Theater, which is also a tourist attraction in Denver. Although the show was already eight months ago, this video itself is the latest. It was officially released just a few days ago. Before we get into the details, let’s talk about the show’s position. Let’s look back at last year’s schedule.・January 17th – March 2nd: North America #1 (23 performances) [SIGNS released on February 15th] ・April 2nd – 27th: Europe (17 performances) ・May 10th – 25th : North America #2 (12 performances) June 11th-16th: Japan (5 performances) June 28th-August 24th: North America #3 (28 performances) ←★Here★・September 27th- October 5th: North America #4 (6 performances in NY) November 6th-16th: North America #5 (8 performances) This is last year’s TEDESCHI TRUCKS BAND. Speaking of 2019, it was a busy year with the highest number of performances since our formation, but among them, the Arrington performance, which completely reproduced the masterpiece “Itoshi no Leila”, is still fresh in my memory (pro shot work “LOCKN’ 2019 ). In fact, the Morrison performance of this work was about a month before that, and it was the 19th concert of the same “North America #3”. This work recorded at such a show can only be described as “truly the best” and “completely official grade.” If the image and sound quality are perfect, the camera work and mix are perfect. Since it’s an open-air theater, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of lighting, but it’s not a problem because a huge, spectacular light show doesn’t suit their music. In fact, the somber mood is even elegant. There were no plans for commercialization, and it seems that it has been deleted from the official channel, but to think that such a high quality would be released for a limited time…we are living in an amazing era. The visual beauty depicts a full show of the strongest live band, which is always wonderful and fresh. Although it is close to “LOCKN’ 2019”, this work is not a reproduction of the album, but a normal style show. An important appeal of their show is the variety of daily sets, so let’s summarize them here. Original (10 songs)・REVELATOR: Midnight in Harlem・MADE UP MIND: Part Of Me/Made Up Mind・LET ME GET BY: Don’t Know What It Means/I Want More・SIGNS: Signs, High Times/High & Mighty/Still Your Mind/Shame/Others: Swamp Raga covers (7 songs)/Border Song (Elton John)/The Letter (THE BOX TOPS)/Down in the Flood (Bob Dylan)/Somebody Pick Up My Pieces ( Willie Nelson) / I Pity The Fool (Bobby Bland) / BLACKBERRY SMOKE: Stranger in a Strange Land (Leon Russell) / Space Captain (Matthew Moore)… and so on. The six songs that overlap with “LOCKN’ 2019” are the originals “Midnight in Harlem,” “Don’t Know What It Means,” “Signs, High Times,” and “Shame,” and the covers “The Letter” and “I Pity The.” Fool” only. The other 11 songs are all different. In their case, they always have unusual songs because they change their set every day and night, but in the case of this work, Elton’s “Border Song” and Leon Russell’s “Stranger in a Strange Land” are especially valuable. Another point is the guests. Members of the Atlanta rock band BLACKBERRY SMOKE appear in “Stranger in a Strange Land” and the last song, “Space Captain.” You can also enjoy co-starring performances by contemporary blues-rock comrades. Passionate interplay by the best guitarists of today, Susan’s mature vocals, and a variety of fresh and ever-changing shows with guest co-stars. This is an ultra-excellent multi-camera professional shot of the strongest live band that would be special if it were an ordinary band, but it happens every night. Along with the famous album “LOCKN’ 2019”, this is one of the best works of 2019. Live at Red Rocks Amphitheater, Morrison, CO, USA 26th July 2019 PRO-SHOT 1. Intro 2. Signs, High Times 3.
