Description

Recorded in Boston in 1977 and 1976 by Dan Lampinski, who has released one after another of unimaginably high-quality recording takes, sending music fans all over the world into a melting pot of excitement. Coupled with two Super Tramp shows. Discs 1 & 2 include a complete recording of the June 12, 1977 performance during the release period of “Even In The Quietest Moments” with an unprecedented perfect sound that can only be heard on a soundboard recording. A miraculous sound image that will definitely rank at the top among the high-quality Lampinski sound sources. This is an unbelievable level of ultra-high-quality recording, with no sound distortion whatsoever, and you’ll listen to it thinking, “Is this really a microphone recording?” The sound balance is perfect, and it is a very special recording version that there would be no problem even if it was released as an official live version. It’s a shame that Poor Boy is recorded for 4 minutes and the second half is cut out, but there is nothing else missing. In the master, Babaji, which was recorded at the end of Disc 1, has been moved to the beginning of Disc 2. The slightly higher pitch has also been accurately adjusted. The set includes four new songs: Give A Little Bit, From Now On, Babaji, and Fool’s Overture. It reproduces the detailed and delicate Supertramp live performance with the best sound. In the Omagari Fool’s Overture and the last song, Two Of Us ~ Crime Of The Century, you can enjoy the most dramatic excitement. Discs 3 & 4 also include a complete recording of the March 5, 1976 performance during the release period of “Crisis? What Crisis?”. This version was also released by Amity under the title “Sister Moonshine”, but this time, the 43 seconds at the beginning of the concert were compensated for by Steve Hopkins’ high-quality version, just like the beginning of Asylum, and it is the longest and best song. We have realized a sound quality version. The delicate yet punchy original sound image that can be heard throughout the album is indescribably wonderful, with a progressive keyboard-centered ensemble, delicious vocals, and an unbroken chorus, the sound of Supertramp from this period. You can enjoy the ultimate sound universe. A true definitive Super Tramp live album boasting unprecedented content. It is a masterpiece recording that if you listen to it normally, you will be under the illusion that you are listening to an official live album. Orpheum Theatre, Boston, MA.
