Description
Suicide, two madmen Alan Vega and Martin Rev, were prominent in the 1970s NY punk scene. Super dope synths and screaming crazy vocals dance madly on top of a cheap rhythm machine. Valuable audience recording at CBGB in NY in 1978. Focusing on the live performance on November 4th, two bonus songs from the previous day’s live performance are included. Although the sound quality is a little muffled, the equalization has been carefully adjusted and the sound has a clear outline. “96 Tears”, a cover of Chicano garage punk heroes “? & THE MYSTERIANS”, is a must-listen. Suicide is said to be the founder of industrial. Highly recommended for punk fans, techno fans, industrial fans, and all rock fans. You’ll definitely love it. Recorded Live at CBGB, New York City, NY, November 03-04, 1978 (set I) 1. Johnny 2. I Remember 3. Keep Your Dreams 4. Ghost Rider (set II) 5. Mr. Ray 6. Four Horsemen 7. 96 Tears 8.
