Paul Weller’s Style Council, recorded live at the Apollo Theater in Glasgow in 1985 in high quality stereo soundboard recording! A new item has been released that recorded a live performance at the Apollo Theater in Glasgow, Scotland on October 16, 1985, immediately after the release of their second album “OUR FAVOURITE SHOP”, which marked the number one spot on the UK album chart! It has been digitally transferred directly from the master cassette of the FM broadcast and remastered, and the mix and balance are so perfect that it would not feel out of place if it were released as a regular live album as it is, and you can enjoy it with a wide range of clear stereo sound! ! It is a shame that only 11 of the 24 songs played on the day of the live performance at a theater with a capacity of about 3,500 people were broadcast on FM, but it is a must-have sound source that allows you to listen to the live performance of the heyday in the best sound quality! The selected tracks are three from their second album “OUR FAVOURITE SHOP” immediately after its release, including the single “Walls Come Tumbling Down.” The medley versions of “Long Hot Summer” and “(When You) Call Me” are the same arrangements as the versions heard on the 12-inch released exclusively in Australia at the Melbourne concert. For some reason, “My Ever Changing Moods,” which was played as the second track in the actual live performance, was moved to before the last track, but the intro and opening band call of “You’e The Best Thing,” which was played as the seventh track, were synchronized in the mix on the FM broadcast, so they were not moved and the track was recorded as it was when it was broadcast.
