Description
In 2019, The Stranglers held a solo performance in Japan for the first time in 27 years, and from their 1987 US tour, the gig at the Ritz in New York on April 16th was completely recorded with the sound board sound source from the FM On Air Master. Since its formation in 1975, centered around Hugh Cornwell, a bachelor from a middle-class background, and Jean-Jacques Burnel, an artist with a penchant for Yukio Mishima, the group has continued to perform consistently up to the present, but this time around, the band has been in the midst of a new era. Although it was a long time after Wave’s heyday, it was a tour for the last original member of Hugh, who would leave three years later, and here we will start with the opening song “No More Heroes”, and record the tour up to that time. With a set list consisting of the best numbers from the 10 albums released in. In addition, the full live sound source on the sound board from the late 1980s has hardly been distributed until now, and it is a must-listen collector’s edition for fans with high documentary value.
