Description
A rare recording of a high-quality stereo audience recording of a performance in Lyon, France in September 1987, from the tour after the release of the ninth album “DREAMTIME”! On the final day of the tour to coincide with the release of the ninth album “DREAMTIME” released in October 1986, about two years after the previous work “AURAL SCULPTURE”, a rare recording of a live performance held at a theater that accommodates about 2,000 people in Lyon, France on September 20, 1987, has appeared! It is recorded with a clear sound quality that is so clear that you can’t believe it is a line recording, a wide range, and a clear and well-balanced stereo separation. The pitch and positioning balance, which were significantly shifted due to the master, have been carefully corrected. The setlist starts after the opening sound effects and features five songs from “DREAMTIME”, including the new single “Nice In Nice”. It also features a thrilling arrangement that connects “Was It You?” and “Down In The Sewer” non-stop, as well as a cover of The Kinks’ “All Day And All Of The Night”, which wasn’t played much at the live shows in March and April of the same year. You can enjoy the superb performance of the late Stranglers with the original lineup, including a horn section, when Hugh was still in the band!
