Description
~A treasured live show from 1983 that showed the development of musicality with increasing depth! A soundboard sound source full of aesthetic lyricism that also plays hit songs that have entered the charts! ~After the punk era, they entered a new direction with the introduction of horn sections and new wave sounds. The Stranglers released a rapid succession of releases in the early 80’s. From the tour that sent hit songs to the charts, a total of 14 songs from the 1983 North American tour and live performance in Toronto have been remastered from the stereo soundboard recording master by local radio station CFNY! The first half has a European melancholy and aesthetic style, the influence of new wave/techno, the second half has deep playing and vocals, and the set list at the time includes many chart hit songs. It can be seen that the live performance of this period is also very high quality as they are developing a dense performance. This is a piece that conveys a real tingling tension that can be said to be the last brilliance of a band that stalled after this! 1.Ships That Pass In The Night 2.It’s A Small World 3.Just Like Nothing On Earth 4.No More Heroes 5.Never Say Goodbye 6.Baroque Bordello 7.Golden Brown 8.Midnight Summer’s Dream 9.European Female 10.
