Stick Men/MA,USA 2022

The excitement of King Crimson’s Japan tour last year (2021) has not yet worn off, and here is a recording of Stick Men’s live performance from April this year. The sound is King Crimson itself. That’s because the rhythm section is Tony Levin and Pat Mastelotto. Although the number of people is small, each member has a large number of moves and sounds, so it doesn’t feel shallow at all. Crimson’s masterpieces such as “Red”, “Level Fiive”, and “The Sun and the Terror” are lined up. It’s like an introduction to the King Crimson Trio, but this is just a band called Stick Men. Moreover, Stick Men has released a new album “Tentacles” for the first time in a long time (I also recommend this new album). It is also a collection of masterpieces with irregular time signatures.
