Description
Steve Tyler’s first solo performance in Japan in 2017, both premium performances, were recorded with various audience footage including mobile. The first day, April 8th at Zepp Osaka, was 91 minutes long, and April 11th at Nippon Budokan, was 102 minutes long. Except for the intervals between songs and some cuts, the entire live performance was almost completely recorded, with clear and stable angles, and many good shots from close range. And with almost the same set composition, he performed numbers from his solo album “We’re All Somebody From Somewhere” and the theme song of the movie “Love Lives”, but more than expected, the Aerobics repertoire made up the majority, and the backing band, the Loving Mary Band, arranged the songs close to the original, but with fresh accents such as banjo, mandolin, and steel guitar, which gave a sense of the concept of the solo album and Tyler’s intentions. In addition, he also covers songs from the Beatles to Janis Joplin, and in the title number of his solo album, he suddenly changes from country rock to funk, and even throws in Sly’s “Thank You”. And he sings “Home Tonight” on piano only at the Budokan, and ends with a lively “Walk This Way” and Zep’s “Whole Lotta Love” on both days. This is a must-see collector’s edition for Aerosmith fans heading into their farewell tour. DISC 1 : 01.Concert AD 02.Sweet Emotion/03.Cryin’/04.I’m Down/Oh!
