Description

Steve Hackett in 2021 announced two new works, “UNDER A MEDITERRANEAN SKY” and “SURRENDER OF SILENCE”, in succession, and also started a reproduction tour of the masterpiece live album “SECONDS OUT”. A trillion and spectacular video that allows you to experience the latest stage from the front row is now available. This work was shot at the “Stockholm performance on November 14, 2021”. It is a super-excellent audience shot. The biggest point of this work is that you can monopolize the “SECONDS OUT + MORE! Tour” in a super special seat. In addition to its amazing quality, Hackett’s recent situation, who has restarted after overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic at the same time, is also interesting. After all, it is the first time for Hackett himself to release two new works in one year, and he also collaborated with Djabe. At 71 years old, he is full of strong motivation. First of all, let’s check the show’s position from such a recent situation. 2021 January 22nd “UNDER A MEDITERRANEAN SKY” released May 28th “THE JOURNEY CONTINUES (Djabe & Hackett)” released August 5th + 7th: Collaboration with Djabe (2 shows) September 10th “SURRENDER OF SILENCE” released September 10th – October 23rd: UK #1 (31 shows) November 11th – 30th: Europe #1 (9 shows) ←★Here★ December 11th + 12th: UK #2 (2 shows) 2022 March 6th – 17th: Europe #2 (9 shows) March 26th – May 19th: North America (35 shows) June 17th – 26th: Oceania (6 shows) July 20th – 23rd: Germany (3 shows) August 12th: Cropredy Festival appearances: September 9-October 12: UK #3 (25 performances) April 14-16, 2023: Germany (co-performed with an orchestra) This is the 2021-2023 schedule that has been announced so far. It’s surprising that the dates for the year after next have already been announced, but the contents are also intense. In 2021, they resumed activities in the fall, but they have performed more than 40 performances, and next year they plan to perform about 80 performances. Moreover, additional dates are still being announced in the gaps, which makes me worry, “Are you going to die from doing so many live shows?” Anyway, in the midst of all this, the Stockholm performance of this work was the third concert of “Europe #1”. This work recorded at such a show is truly the ultimate spectacular view. After all, the position of this work is the front seat. I’m looking at Hackett diagonally from a little to the left of the stage, but the distance is closer than the camera pit. Hackett is right in front of me. The camera work is also a point. Don’t do bold zooms. In the first place, since it is the front row, there is no need to zoom, but even so, if you are at the scene, you will want to zoom in because you will be curious about what kind of picture it will be. However, the photographer of this work has completely rejected that temptation and continues to shoot with an emphasis on stability. Moreover, this is better than expected. The point is “the experience of a special seat”. If you think about it, it is obvious, but the human naked eye does not have a zoom function. If you could sit in the front row, your eyes would be glued to Hackett and you would only occasionally look at each person’s solo. The scene in this work is exactly that. Combined with the super clear image from the latest equipment, you can continue to stare at the full show with the naked eye. And that full show is the biggest liver. It is a stage that completely reproduces GENESIS’s masterpiece live album. However, that is not all. The tour name is “SECONDS OUT + MORE! Tour”, and the “+ MORE” part is also a must-see. Let’s organize the whole picture of the show, which is composed of two parts. Part 1: Solo, Journey of the Priestess: Shadow Of The Hierophant, Rainbow Morning: Clocks – The Angel of Mons/Every Day, SURRENDER OF SILENCE: Held In The Shadows/The Devil’s Cathedral Part 2: Recreating “SECONDS OUT”, Mysterious Antique Music Box: The Musical Box, Foxtrot: Supper’s Ready, Knight of the Moonlight: Firth Of Fifth/I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe)/The Cinema Show/Aisle Of Plenty, Dazzling Broadway: The Carpet Crawlers/The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway, Trick of the Tale: Squonk/Robbery, Assault & Battery/Dance on a Volcano/Los Endos, Storm of Silence: Afterglow … and so on. As with the previous “GENESIS REVISITED”, it is a two-part structure of “Part 1 = Solo / Part 2 = GENESIS”. The main point of the first part is that you can listen to the new songs from the latest work “SURRENDER OF SILENCE”. And the second part is the whole “SECONDS OUT”. The masterpiece was an edited work assembled from multiple shows, but what is reproduced here is not “the live at that time”, but only the “live album”. Even so, it is a spectacular view. The best seats for a live show are different for each person depending on their preference, but the “front row” is a position that everyone would like to experience at least once. This work allows you to fully experience “moving SECONDS OUT” from such a special seat. The tour concept itself makes the “progressive dream” a reality, but this work has made that “best experience” a reality. A super masterpiece that is full of meaning beyond Hackett’s latest live. A super spectacular audience shot of the “Stockholm performance on November 14, 2021” where you can witness the “SECONDS OUT + MORE! Tour”. This is the ultimate spectacular shot where you can witness a full show from the front seat, and the distance is closer than the camera pit. It does not zoom in for stability, but it is close enough that it is not necessary in the first place, and the camera work also reproduces the experience of the source of flesh. In the solo section of the first part, you can enjoy the new song of “SURRENDER OF SILENCE”, but the biggest highlight is the complete reproduction of “SECONDS OUT” in the second part. It is a dream video work where you can fully experience “Moving SECONDS OUT” from the front seat. Nalen – Stora Salen, Stockholm, Sweden 14th November 2021 AMAZING SHOT!! Disc 1(71:42) Set 1: Solo 1.
