Description
“GENESIS REVISITED TOUR” is a hot topic due to the complete recreation of “Knight of the Moon Shadow” and the 40th anniversary of “SPECTRAL MORNINGS”. A new masterpiece is now available from the North American leg. This work includes “September 24, 2019 Boston Performance”. This is the best audience recording. The “GENESIS REVISITED TOUR” changes its taste every year so you don’t get bored, but this year’s attention is especially high as it completely reproduces the famous GENESIS albums. The first reports, “ESSEN 2019” and “RIDGEFIELD 2019,” have been very well received. This work is the third report following such a masterpiece, and is the best live album to date. The best thing, of course, is the sound. Some of you may have already noticed, but the Boston performance of this work was a little earlier than the second “RIDGEFIELD 2019”. In order to get a feel for the positional relationship, let’s review the outline of this tour entitled “SELLING ENGLAND BY THE POUND & SPECTRAL MORNINGS & Solo Highlights TOUR”. ●2019 April 22nd – June 5th: Europe #1 (31 performances) July 14th – 20th: Europe #2 (5 performances) September 12th – October 20th: North America # 1 (27 performances) ←★Here★>>Now here<<・November 2nd-29th: UK (20 performances) ●February 26th-March 24th, 2020: North America #2 (17 performances)・May 24th – June 2nd: Oceania (6 performances) This is the overall picture of the 2019/2020 “GENESIS REVISITED TOUR”. In addition to this, there are a variety of other shows such as concerts with DJABE and orchestras, TRADING BOUNDARIES, CRUISE TO THE EDGE, etc., but this time we have narrowed it down to a concept tour recreating “Knight of the Moon Shadow.” The dates for 2020 have also been announced, and the reproduction of masterpieces is expected to continue there as well. “North America #1″ just ended the other day, and this Boston performance is the 9th concert of that work. This is before the 2nd performance of “RIDGEFIELD 2019”. In other words, this work is a master that appeared late, but the reason is that it is a remaster. In fact, this work is not a recorded raw master, but a version that has been carefully refined over time by overseas core enthusiasts. The results are also truly stunning. The original recording itself was a work that made enthusiasts want to “remaster” it, but the sound that was actually refined is shining. A powerful core with no sense of distance approaches right in front of you, and the details are also clear. If you listen closely with headphones, you won’t hear the sound of the hall, but even that is not enough to prove that it was an audience recording, the bass line is very crisp, and the high tones seem to be shining down. “RIDGEFIELD 2019” was also a pretty good audience recording, but to put it bluntly, it is not a competition. It is the type that can be called “just like a sound board”, and the superb sound makes you forget that it is a guest recording until the lively applause occurs between songs. It is definitely the best master of the “Knight of the Moon Shadow” complete reproduction tour. The attention-grabbing tour drawn with that sound is indescribably wonderful. As reported for the previous two albums, this tour will consist of two parts + an encore, each with a clear concept. ●Part 1: 40th anniversary of “SPECTRAL MORNINGS” ・6 songs of “SPECTRAL MORNINGS” + 3 new songs of “AT THE EDGE OF LIGHT” ●Part 2: Complete reproduction of “Knight of the Moon Shadow” ・All of “Knight of the Moon Shadow” + ” Deja Vu” “Dance On A Volcano” ●Encore “Myopia/Slogans/Los Endos” medley…and it goes like this. “SPECTRAL MORNINGS” was originally an album with 8 songs, so 6 songs are an exceptionally large album. The second part, “Deja Vu”, is a completed unreleased song from the “Moon Shadow Knight” era, so it makes sense for it to be played here. In other words, this work is a live album where you can enjoy the show that is based on the strongest concept in the history of “GENESIS REVISITED” with the best master in history. It is the best master of the tour’s highest peak, which overseas enthusiasts have spent a lot of time refining. It is unknown whether the reproduction tour will be made into an official work or a performance in Japan will be realized in the future, but if you listen to the “live performance version of SELLING ENGLAND BY THE POUND” at the moment, this work is the best.
