This is a 2021 live recording that will make Genesis fans go wild. This is Steve Hackett’s Genesis project. It reproduces the famous live album “Seconds Out” from the time he was a member. Nad Sylvain’s vocals are closer to Peter Gabriel, and go perfectly with songs from the Gabriel era such as “Broadway Enchanted”. The original Genesis is based on the set list of the later period when Phil Collins was active, while Steve Hackett’s project is based on the set list of the mid-period Genesis, but the overlapping songs such as “First of Fifth” and “Loss and Loss” are exciting to listen to and compare. The guitar is Darryl Sturmer vs. Steve Hackett, and the vocals are Phil Collins vs. Peter Gabriel type Nad Sylvain. Both titles are must-haves to listen to and compare.
