Description
Super drummer Steve Gadd, who turned 70 in April 2015, performed spectacular stages around the world with his band in conjunction with the release of his leader album “70 Strong”. Among them, a complete recording of the live performance performed at “Tokyo Jazz Festival 2015″ held at the Tokyo International Forum on September 6th from the stereo sound board sound source from the broadcast master. First of all, since the early 1970s, he has been active across genres using his impeccable technique and goosebumps-inducing groove, and has been active in groups such as “Staff”, “Steps”, and “Gad Gang”, and has become one of the most energetic bands in recent years. This time’s members are the regular group that is pouring it. It was made possible by Michael Landau, Larry Goldings, Jimmie Johnson, also known as the Holdsworth Band, and Walt Fowler, who played flugel horn and trumpet, and the ultimate technicians. A heated exchange battle explodes throughout the story. And the set list can be said to be a career summary, including numbers from “70 Strong” and famous songs from the staff era, which are also exciting. 1. The Wind Up/2. Africa/3. Breen Foam/4. Duke’s Anthem/5.
