From the first European tour after changing the name from Steps to Steps Ahead, Mike Mainieri, Michael Brecker, Eddie Gomez, Peter Erskine, and Don Grolnick performed in Hungary in 1982, and played keyboards only with Warren Barnhart instead of Don. Introducing a 3-disc set that combines the 1984 New York performance in which they participated! ! ! Immediately after changing the name to Steps Ahead because there was a band with the same name called Steps, Mike Mainieri and Michael Brecker performed on July 28, 1982 in Debrecen, Hungary’s second largest city, from their first European tour. A 75-minute live performance by the lineup of Eddie Gomez, Peter Erskine, and Don Grolnick was recorded on a superbly high-quality stereo soundboard that has been carefully mastered by the label, and only the keyboard is replaced by Don and Warren.・Peter instructed the crew to record the live performance at the Lehman Center in New York on March 3, 1984, in which Bernhardt participated.
