Description
This is the long-awaited release of a DVD that covers the history of Steely Dan, who was called the alchemist of sound in America in the 1970s. Dan started in 1972 with the well-known duo of Donald Fagen and Walter Becker. A valuable video from the time of their formation decorates the beginning of the DVD. To be honest, I was surprised to see these members playing songs such as “Reelin’ Years” and “Do It Again” in the studio. I was especially surprised to see that the appearance of Becker playing the bass and the shape of Fagen’s face had not changed so much. Jeff Baxter, Denny Dias, Jim Hodder, David Palmer These members went on tour, but it was canceled after only 27 shows due to Feigen’s poor health. Immediately after, Baxter was taken by the Doobies, so live performances were essentially halted from 1975 onwards. They are also an incredible band that did not perform a single live show until 1992. Therefore, unfortunately, you cannot see the footage during that time. The following “New York Rock & Soul Revue” is a live show proposed by Donald Fagen. Michael McDonald, who later participated in Dan’s recordings, the great Boz Scaggs, and the then up-and-coming Phoebe Snow (though she has dignity) participated. A passionate performance of rock-soul standards. In addition, we introduce a lot of activities such as a TV special covering the 1993 Dan World Tour. The unknown side of Dan, who was particular about recording and left behind numerous masterpieces, is now revealed. .. .. With menu screen and chapters
