Description
The live performance at Zepp Namba in Osaka on June 10th, the second day of the Japan tour accompanying the release of the 2025 album “MAD!”, was fully recorded, including the rehearsal, with intercepted audio from an in-ear monitor. First of all, this is the original master of the IEM sound source used by Russell Mayle, which was intercepted at the venue on the day, and it was recorded without any mix balance errors that are common with IEM interception, the mix was perfect, and there were no counts or clicks to be noticed, so it was almost comparable to a stereo sound board. And the four performances in Japan this time have a completely fixed set, with “MAD!” and the masterpiece “NO. 1 IN HEAVEN” as the main works, but it is a best selection that summarizes the long career since the 70s, and in addition, numbers that meet the requests of fans, such as “So May We Start” from the movie “Annette” and “This Town Ain’t Big Enough For Both Of Us”, which is also familiar from the iPhone commercial, are firmly set in. What’s more, the rehearsal footage from the day was also added as a bonus in the IEM recording, where “So May We Start” and “Drowned In A Sea Of Tears” are played in full, and “Suburban Homeboy” is also played briefly, so you can hear it in official quality, making it a truly Japan-only memorial item.
