Description
This item is a coupling of the latest live audio and video of Soft Machine, who continues to perform live energetically even now. The live performance was held at Poggy & Bess, a live house in Vienna, the city of music. The professional shot video is the master, and the audio part has been remastered and the talk between songs has been cut. The first set of songs is recorded on disc 1, and the second set is recorded on disc 2. There is almost no cheering from the audience, so it is edited to feel like a studio live performance with a good tempo. On the other hand, the DVD is recorded in its entirety with no editing between songs. It is a structure that allows you to enjoy the entire live performance thoroughly. It is unfortunate that John Marshall is absent, but Asaf Silkis has been rejuvenated and Fred Baker has been appointed as the bassist, making it a powerful rhythm section. The flow from “Face Lift” to “Hazard Profile” in the second half is extremely cool, and even old fans will surely be grinning. The DVD has chapters for each track, but there is no menu screen.
