Description

Release of Shady Grove Music Fair sound source in 1970. Although the sound quality is a sound board recording, the audience’s applause like an audience recording and the performance itself are subdued, and the sound quality is not something that can be praised very much. However, it is a performance by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles that is enough to appreciate. I honestly want to be happy with its release because of the wonderful content. In the 1970s, Motown was beginning to move out of Detroit. Smokey left the band in 1972, and the Miracles continued on their own path with the hit Love Machine, but this was a transitional period for the Miracles as Smokey’s group. The content is a greatest hits live performance full of their hit songs, and you can enjoy it. The performances of the famous songs Ooo Baby Baby, Tears Of A Clown, and Going To A Go-Go, some minor songs in the first half, are also interesting. Live In Gaithersburg, Maryland, November 28 1970 1.Show Opening – If You Can Want 2.I Second That Emotion 3.Baby, Baby Don’t Cry 4.Who’s Gonna Take The Blame 5.Point It Out – Member Intro 6. Darling Dear 7.Here I Go Again 8.Tears Of A Clown 9.Tracks Of My Tears 10.Ooo Baby Baby 11.Yester Love 12.Going To A Go-Go
