Description

Sly’s influence on the soul/funk scene, including Prince, is immeasurable, and even inspired Miles to approach black music. This live performance in Harlem, New York on June 29, 1969, was recorded using a soundboard from the broadcast master, and was the peak of his career. This performance was recorded at the peak of his career after the release of “Stand!”, and the album’s songs, as well as many other raging funk numbers, are arranged in a medley format to make them even funkier, creating a raging groove full of hot funk spirit. 01.
