In September 2018, in between his reunion tour with Guns, he released his solo album “LIVING THE DREAM” under the name Slash ft. Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators. From the 2019 performance in Japan accompanying the album release, the first performance in Osaka on January 15th will be coupled with sound and video. First of all, the sound source includes a complete 131-minute recording of the day’s events using soundboard-level digital audience recording. The set consisted mainly of solos up to “LIVING THE DREAM,” and the Guns number was narrowed down to just one song, “Nightrain,” giving a performance that truly transcended solo thrash. Furthermore, the video DVD is almost completely recorded for 122 minutes with super clear audience shots. This shot is taken from a stand seat on the left side of the stage looking down at a slight angle, and since it’s in the front row, there are almost no shadows of the audience in front, and in addition to a good angle where only the stage occupies the field of view, it also has an excellent sense of stability thanks to the zoom. . Moreover, the audio part is matrixed from the digital audience master used on the CD, and thanks to its perfect synchronization, the entire performance is reproduced with powerful sound and images, which were only two precious performances in Japan.
