Description

A rare recording of a live performance held in Rouen, France in March 1984, when Robert Smith was enrolled, has been released in good stereo audience recording! After John McGough left the band, the Bungies welcomed Robert Smith, who would later form the Cure, as guitarist. About two months before the release of the only album “Hyaena” when Robert Smith was enrolled, on March 25, 1984, a rare recording of a live performance held at the EXO7 concert hall in Rouen, a city located in northern France, has been released in high quality stereo audience recording! It has been digitized directly from the 1st gene master, and is recorded with a clear sound quality that is familiar to the ears with a wide range and depth, and the pitch and positioning deviation caused by the master have been carefully corrected and remastered. The opening strings feature six songs from “Hyaena”, including the long version of “Dazzle”, and it is a shame that the second encore is missing, but up to the first encore “Poppy Day” is recorded uncut. Robert Smith left the band after this show six days later, but Steve Severin and Robert Smith were also active in The Globe at the same time and performed together!
