Description
A rare recording of a live performance at the Seaside Festival in Belgium in 1985 with new guitarist John Valentine Carruthers, a complete recording of the live performance with good stereo audience recording! The new Banjis, who welcomed new guitarist John Valentine Carruthers from the EP “THE THORN” released in 1984 after Robert Smith left the band, have released a rare recording of a live performance at the Seaside Festival in Belgium on August 10, 1985, with good stereo audience recording! Recorded directly from the master cassette, the pitch that was significantly out of sync due to the master has been carefully corrected and remastered. The range is wide, which can be said to be in the upper class at that time, and each part, including the vocals, is recorded with a well-balanced, clear, and good sound quality! The Bungies appeared as headliners at the festival where The Cult, Killing Joke and others also performed. The set list featured six songs from their seventh album, Tinderbox, which was released about eight months later, including the single “Candyman” which was released in February of the following year prior to the album. You can enjoy the full uncut performance, including two encores, of the superb live performance that perfectly reproduces the sound of “Tinderbox”, which reached a peak of 13th place on the UK album chart!
