From the 1977 European tour of famous West Coast jazz drummer Shelly Mann, a live performance in Elancourt, France on November 11th is recorded with the finest stereo soundboard sound source that was broadcast locally in recent years. “Softly, As In A Morning Sunrise” and “Body” were performed by a trio with Sarah Vaughan in the 1970s, Mike Wofford, who was active as pianist and director for Ella Fitzgerald from 1989 to 1992, and session bassist Chuck Domenico.
