Description

SCORPIONS from the Uli Jon Roth era has been the center of attention due to the successive excavations of “SWISS TV 1977” and “MINDEN 1974”. A soundboard album that further enhances the heat has been released. It is a newly excavated master with an upgraded traditional recording. This work includes the “April 26, 1975 Cologne performance”. This is a stereo soundboard recording. Speaking of 1975, it is remembered as the “year of IN TRANCE”, but this work is the “FLY TO THE RAINBOW Tour” that came before that. Let’s check the position of the show from the schedule at that time, along with the newly pressed “MINDEN 1974” the other day. 1974 ・February 1st – March 3rd: West Germany #1 (3 shows) ・April 6th – 15th: Super German Rock Festival (5 shows) ・May 3rd: Minden show ←※MINDEN 1974 ・June 30th: Hannover show ・July 26th – October 31st: West Germany #2a (24 shows) {“FLY TO THE RAINBOW” released November 1st} ・November 1st – 30th: West Germany #2b (20 shows) ・December 27th: Hannover show 1975 ・January 5th – February ??: Europe #1 (7 shows) ・April 23rd – July 5th: Europe #2 (43 shows) ←★Here★ {??? Jurgen Fechter replaced by Rudi Lenners? ? 》・August 30th + September 6th: West Germany #3 (2 performances)《September 17th “IN TRANCE” released》・September 27th: Wallerfangen performance・October 17th-December 27th: Europe #3 (35 performances)This is SCORPIONS in 1974/1975. “MINDEN 1974” was just before the release of “FLY TO THE RAINBOW”, but this work was just before “IN TRANCE”. It was the fourth concert of “Europe #2”. This period is also attracting a lot of attention. Not only have there been a series of excavations, but research by enthusiasts is entering a new phase. In fact, one of the enthusiasts contacted Jurgen Fechter, a member of the band at the time, with the discovery of “MINDEN 1974”. It seems that new materials such as live dates have been provided. Although the details have not yet been made public, it is certain that the conventional theory about Jurgen’s tenure was incorrect, at least. The Cologne performance of this work was previously thought to have been after the replacement of Rudi Lennars, but it seems that it was during the Jurgen era (the above schedule is based on conventional information. Details such as the date and number of performances may change soon). In any case, such a Cologne performance is also known for the fact that a sound board was left behind, and it has reigned as a standard in the Uri era. This work is also a standard sound board, but it is not a copy or remastered reissue of the existing group. It is the highest version released by a maniac who contacted the aforementioned Jurgen. The quality is exactly the best ever. As expected, it is not the type that advertises “official class!”, but the master freshness of a different dimension from the conventional one is overwhelming, the core is stronger, and the details are clear to the fine details. Above all, the sense of stability is off the charts. There is almost no twisting or shaking, and you can enjoy the sharp yet lustrous sound from beginning to end. Moreover, this work is the highest peak of such a newly excavated master. The pitch, which was quite fast in the original sound on the net, and also changed, is adjusted as accurately as possible. The gap between “This Is My Song” and “They Need A Million” has also been corrected, realizing a listening experience that tightens the already excellent sense of stability even further. The show depicted in the highest peak update sound is different from the shocking work “MINDEN 1974”. Let’s organize it while comparing it here. Fly to the Rainbow (5 songs) This Is My Song / They Need A Million / Drifting Sun / Fly To The Rainbow / Speedy’s Coming Others (3 songs + α) Original: Rock ‘N’ Roll Queen (★) / Robot Man (★) Cover: Red House (★) / Long Tall Sally (★) *Note: The “★” mark is a song that could not be heard in “MINDEN 1974”. … and it looks like this. The “FLY TO THE RAINBOW” number is the axis of “MINDEN 1974”, but the repertoire has increased further. The covers are different, but the original also features the masterpiece “Robot Man” from the next album “IN TRANCE”. And the highlight is the unreleased song “Rock ‘N’ Roll Queen”. Like “All Night Long”, they had several repertoires that were not recorded in the studio at that time, and this song is one of them. You can enjoy the light boogie numbers that can only be heard live with the highest peak renewal sound. SCORPIONS in 1975, when they met Dieter Dirks and rushed to a new stage. This is an upgraded soundboard album that invades the brain of the band at the time when they were about to make a leap. 2022 may be the “year of the scorpion” if it continues like this… This newly excavated master even has such a premonition. Stereo soundboard recording of the “Cologne performance on April 26, 1975”. The soundboard has been a staple of the Uri era for a long time, but this work is the highest peak renewal master of the newly excavated. The master freshness is overwhelming, with a stronger core and clearer details. Above all, the sense of stability is off the charts. There is almost no twisting or shaking, and you can enjoy the sharp yet lustrous sound from beginning to end. You can enjoy the “FLY TO THE RAINBOW” numbers that were unique to that time, as well as the newly written new song “Robot Man” and the unreleased song “Rock ‘N’ Roll Queen” with the best sound ever.
