Their slow, doom, super-heavy metal sound with roots in BLACK SABBATH and cushioning in NWOBHM was completely ignored in 1984, but it has now become deified. The background sounds like SABBATH and the vocals sound like BLUE OYSTER CULT! ! It also has a nice “Sun Madness” atmosphere that is typical of an American band. The long mellow songs with slow tempo are wonderful. “Burial at Sea” takes a turn from a slow beginning and speeds up like crazy.
