Description
During the 2007 Big Bang tour, the Stones appeared at the Isle of Wight Festival, which took place over three consecutive days from June 8th, and were the headliners on the final day, June 10th. Despite the large-scale festival show, no bootlegs containing the full songs were released (only three songs, Love in Vain, with guest appearance by Paolo Nutini, Ain’t Too Proud to Beg, with guest appearance by the late Amy Winehouse, and Sympathy for the Devil, which were broadcast on television in a digest), were bootlegged. This album contains the full show with a good audience recording that was recently circulated on the Internet. The performance is a little far away, but it is clear and stable enough. At first, the cheers between songs overpeak, but as the songs progress, the problem decreases, perhaps because adjustments have been made. The two songs with fun guest appearances also have a good feel and you can experience the excitement. (Paolo Nutini’s Love in Vain is excellent.) A digital error was found in the recording master at 44 seconds into Tumbling Dice, which was the only disappointment, but other than that the sound was pretty good. The MC before Mick’s member introduction was also interesting, saying, “It’s a very beautiful and good festival, but the prices are high! Water and hamburgers, too.” It was well received by the audience. Including this part, the sound was quite great from the first half of the show to Slipping Away in the middle Keith corner, but the B stage from Miss You suddenly became louder from here, but the musical sounds were still firmly in, so don’t worry. In the last Jumping Jack Flash, the surrounding situation may have changed, and the musical sounds became somewhat smaller in the further excitement, resulting in a rather unstable sound image. However, it is true that the recording is easy to listen to throughout, capturing the atmosphere and atmosphere of the day without a sense of equalization, and the sound image is quite stable except at the end, so it is definitely worth adding to your collection. As a bonus, the aforementioned TV broadcast take is recorded with only audio. These three songs are official line recordings, so there is nothing to say.
