Description

The final version is finally here! Everyone loves the Rolling Stones’ 1972 US tour, which was originally recorded on multiple tracks to release a live album, and the only one of the recordings that was released in one show was the second show in Fort Worth on June 24th. Naturally, it is a stereo soundboard, so it is a true bestseller that has become a definitive classic among enthusiasts, starting with VGP’s “FORT WORTH EXPRESS”, which “sells out no matter how many times it is released”. After that, “FORT WORTH 1972 2ND SHOW”, which can be said to be a new generation release, sold out in an instant. “FORT WORTH 1972 LATE SHOW”, which was a further masterpiece that “GRAF ZEPPELIN” re-washed this masterpiece, also became a very popular item at the instant level. Such a standard stereo sound board, and in addition, the record of the peak tour, of course, there are endless requests from enthusiasts to reissue it, and above all, it is a famous sound source that should be steadily supplied to the market. In fact, there should be few enthusiasts who own multiple titles containing this sound source, and even for “FORT WORTH EXPRESS”, for example, there are a considerable number of enthusiasts who own different versions. Even if that is not the case, isn’t Fort Worth in need of a re-release soon? Of course, “GRAF ZEPPELIN” took on the restoration again at the perfect timing when I thought. However, how will they adjust the sound source that felt like it was pushed to the limit by the previous “FORT WORTH 1972 LATE SHOW” this time? “GRAF ZEPPELIN” took a completely different approach. It started the restoration by going back to the Fort Worth trader title “FT. WORTH SPECIAL” CD, which was the source of the past items. In other words, it means going back to the original source and reviewing the sound source. Most of the items released in the past were based on versions that had undergone noise reduction when they were digitally converted from CDs and distributed, and as this tells us, they fell into a texture that was more or less “no hiss but lacking naturalness”. This time, by re-recording from the original “FT. WORTH SPECIAL” CD-R, we succeeded in regaining the original naturalness. Certainly, each release in recent years has been great, but when you listen to this version, you will be amazed at how natural it is. Because it is a stereo sound board, the sound source is guaranteed to be of a minimum high quality, and those who are used to the unnaturalness common to past items will be able to experience an even fresher naturalness. As a result, unlike past items, there is also a faint hiss noise, but this is not unpleasant at all, and it is the factor that makes you feel the original naturalness. Even just the mild listening comfort makes a big difference from past items. Because there have been so many items, this release is the result of going back to the original sound source. And by once again carrying out meticulous restoration, including the tape twist, which was also a great success in “FORT WORTH 1972 LATE SHOW”, the classic stereo sound board has been reborn with an unprecedented naturalness and outstanding stability. Of course, the missing parts of Aud were also refilled from scratch, and using “recorder 2” instead of the previous “recorder 1”, a smoother, closer sound image and thicker compensation was carried out. The finish is also truly magnificent. If Fort Worth is officially released in the future, it will be essential to master and remix using the latest technology, and it is unlikely that the naturalness of the 1970s recordings like this one will be utilized. “GRAF ZEPPELIN”, who has been a master of many Stones’ heyday sound sources, has reborn the 1972 super classic sound board into a finish worthy of the final definitive version! Remastered from the Boss Hawg record “FT. WORTH SPECIAL”, which is said to have been the original sound source for past titles such as the VGP record! In recent years, press titles have only been made into records based on data that has been digitally noise reduced, but this time, the Boss Hawg record is the base, so you can finally enjoy the extremely natural and thick sound without the smell of digital noise reduction with the latest remaster. The difference is clear when comparing the intervals between songs and the rambler head. In recent years, the lack of “hiss” has been praised as a good thing in records, but although there is some hiss in this record, there is no unpleasant digital smell, so please listen and compare. The pitch, phase, and bandwidth have been adjusted, but of course the bandwidth adjustment is done within an appropriate range without being overdone, and the hiss is more natural and modest than the previously released VGP record. In addition, the familiar sound distortion in the middle part of the Rambler has been carefully and precisely corrected, and low-frequency noise (hum noise) has been carefully analyzed and removed, so it can be said that this has finally surpassed all previously released boards!
