Description

Looking back, the appearance of “FULLY FINISHED OUTTAKES” was revolutionary. However, to my surprise, the Stones outtakes continued to leak out little by little after that, and although they were not as large as “FULLY FINISHED”, some surprising sound sources actually appeared. They were leaked little by little, and on a song-by-song basis, but finally, the amount of them had reached a point where they could fit on an album, and a maniac compiled them into the source of this CD. The main part is outtakes recorded by the Stones in the 1980s and early 1990s, but there is also a surprising first appearance of the earliest version of “Meet Me In The Bottom” recorded at Regent Sound Studios in 1964. Above all, the sound quality is very good throughout the entire album. Even though it is expected that the sound quality of the 1980s outtakes is still good, it is surprising that even this “Meet Me In The Bottom” can be heard with very clear sound quality. Among the recordings compiled here, the demo version of “Hide Your Love” has the most leaked sound quality, but even that is a world away from the quality of the leaked outtakes we’ve heard in the past. Therefore, the sound quality is comparable to that of “FULLY FINISHED OUTTAKES,” and it’s amazing that such amazing recordings are still kept secret among core enthusiasts. And the unedited long version of “Paying The Cost To Be The Boss,” which the Stones backed BB King on his album “DEUCES WILD” in 1997, and the outtake “Head In The Toilet Blues” from the session with him are also surprising discoveries. In addition, the session with BB King is also recorded with the best sound quality. This super gorgeous CD is so full of amazing new discoveries that it’s no wonder it could be called a mini “FULLY FINISHED OUTTAKES.” THE ROLLING STONES – RAREST STUDIO OUTTAKES (48:10) 01.
