Description

This is a professional shot video from November 30th, the first day of the two-day Silver Dome concert, which has long been familiar to enthusiasts. It has been circulating in good quality since the beginning, and in the days of bootleg videos, it was rumored to be an outtake from the movie “LET’S SPEND THE NIGHT TOGETHER”. However, it was not filmed like a movie, but was shot with a video camera, and the two-camera recording is different from the footage shown on the screen at venues like Seattle. After all, this was footage shot by NBC TV in the United States to cover the first day of Pontiac and broadcast it on the news. Therefore, it was not recorded with the intention of being released as a live video, and most of the songs are cut, and “Time Is On My Side” was not included. Still, it is a valuable video, and it has been released previously as a free DVD-R “PONTIAC 1981: THE VIDEO”. However, this time, the “New edit 2018 Full HD” that recently appeared on YouTube has been made into a DVD-R. The screen still has some logos and time counts, but the quality is HD, so it’s surprising that it’s so ultra-clear that it could be officially released as is. And that’s not all, this is an upgraded version that includes a lot of scenes before the show that weren’t included in the previous version. It also captures the Stones members, including Mick, arriving at the venue, and his careful fitness before the show. The most hilarious part is seeing Bill Wyman and Bill Graham fighting at ping pong. This was also seen in Hampton, but just like then, Wyman ended up with a crushing victory. In addition, the previous version was dubbed with a soundboard recording from the same day, but this time it’s the same recording from the NBC reporting team, so it’s interesting that when you’re shooting on stage, it’s balanced like a soundboard, and when you switch to shooting from the audience, it’s balanced like an audience. In addition, not only can you see Mick and the other members leaving the venue, but it also includes three songs from the second half of the live show, “Tumbling Dice,” which were not included in the previous version. However, these three songs are not only fragmented as usual, but do not show the stage at all (only the excited audience), so it is understandable why they were cut last time. And it is a pity that the scene where Charlie’s drums stopped sounding with howling as soon as Ronnie and Keith started to chorus in the second half of “Jumping Jack Flash”, which was an incident that day, was not captured. Instead, in the early part of the show, “Let’s Spend The Night Together”, Mick is hugged by a fan who came up on stage, which is a scene that foreshadows Hampton (which may be why Keith acted like that in Hampton), and even Mick gulping down whiskey in front of “You Can’t Always Get What You Want”, it is still a valuable upper version of the video!
