Description
Thirty years have passed since the 1973 European tour, but the Stones were still on stage, and nearly 15 years have passed since the second year of the 2003 “LICKS” tour… From this year’s activities, the core of the album is the 2003 performance, not only on the official DVD “FOUR FLICKS” but also on “LIVE LICKS”, and in recent years, the leaked video of Circus Krone was unearthed, which is still fresh in my memory. However, since there was no item that allowed you to listen to the entire performance on a sound board with official quality this year, Circus Krone caused a great reaction among fans. However, it is also true that Circus Krone had a rough sound quality like a leaked video. I want to enjoy the 2003 “LICKS” tour with a higher quality, and even if it means filling in the unrecorded songs at Twickenham of “FOUR FLICKS” from the audience recording, I want to listen to it on a complete sound board… This has been a long time since I heard from enthusiasts. I want a live album that can listen to a single performance on a soundboard, let alone an official (literal) one. After all, “LIVE LICKS” is an edited album from multiple performances, and some performances from Twickenham were also used in it. If that’s the case, it’s the psychology of enthusiasts to want to listen to or own it in its entirety. And this time, a complete sound live album from Twickenham, which has never been seen before, will be realized. Of course, many people have already seen it all on video. Even so, if the sound is completed to the point of mixing in this way, it will be a super-realistic live album of the highest order. The nostalgic Twickenham show was a night that was re-started during the 2003 UK tour after Mick fell ill. It was also a stage where the Stones were informed of the filming on the premise of a video release. Compared to Circus Krone, where (also typical of the Stones) looseness was seen from the opening, the Stones were truly in “recording mode”. That is also why the sound of the video Twickenham is required as a “total live album”. It is obvious that there is no need to add any processing to the main stereo soundboard part. Rather, what is required is how to compensate for the cut songs from the audience recording of the same day without any discomfort. Don’t worry, speaking of the Twickenham audience recording, there is a sound source that we have obtained ourselves. Some people may think, “Is there such a thing?” That is because this sound source was the sound source of the item of the famous album “WEMBLEY 1999 2ND NIGHT” of the 1999 tour. Even from our shop, the time has come to make use of this sound source because it is a famous Twickenham audience recording. So we compensated for the three songs “Don’t Stop”, “Happy”, and “Start Me Up” from the same sound source. After all, it is an audience recording with a very on sound image, so even if it switches from the official-class (or rather, the official itself) sound board, it is surprisingly beautifully connected and switches vividly. The audience’s reaction was originally captured by the audience, and the sound board was mixed to close up the excitement in “Sympathy For The Devil”, so there is no sense of incongruity in terms of realism. And when it comes to the Stones 15 years ago, they are so young that it is surprising to listen to them again now. The intro started with a vague ayafusaya by Keith (but it was officially corrected and released), and the performance of “Jumping Jack Flash” exploded at the end. Furthermore, “Star Star”, which could be called the highlight of the B stage of this day, is full of momentum reminiscent of 1975 to 1976. This is the best item that allows you to reconfirm the dynamism of the Stones in 2003 with a perfect stereo sound board. It goes without saying that anyone from beginners to enthusiasts can listen to this high-quality live album with ease, and it’s guaranteed to make you feel the passage of time from 1973 to 2003!
