The famous “LONDON ROUNDHOUSE”, which recorded the 1971 UK Farewell Tour with a good secret sound source, was released over 40 years ago by the long-established analog boot TMOQ label. This time, we use the UPGRADE sound source, which is much easier to listen to than what has been released on CD so far, and the last three songs, which are not available on the Roundhouse sound source, are taken from the sound board sound source for radio airing of the Leeds performance on March 13th the previous day. I took it and made it into a pseudo-complete version. In the main part of the Roundhouse, the rather slow pitch that was a problem with the original analog LP has been neatly corrected, and the entire CD has a uniform finish that does not feel out of place. Although the number of performances and remaining sound sources of the ’71 UK tour are extremely small, this is a new title for old fans who can enjoy plenty of valuable setlists including the very rare “PRODIGAL SON” on this tour.
