The Swingin’ Pig Records, commonly known as TSP, was a European label that unearthed many amazing sound sources in the late 1980s, when music media shifted from records to CDs. They released a large number of classic sound sources from the record era as well as newly discovered sound sources, which fascinated rock fans. If you are a Stones fan, you probably know that “Handsome Girls”, which was released at the end of their career, still reigns as one of the absolute champions (although it is a 4-disc set) in the world of unreleased sound sources. The release process was thorough, not only CDs but also analog records were released at the same time in the early days, and colored vinyl was used. Among these, some of the earliest CDs came with a cassette tape with a different sound source than the CD as a limited edition. The item we are introducing this time is a direct adaptation of the “London Roundhouse” that came with the first edition of “Get Your Leeds Lungs Out!”. This sound source is said to have been reproduced directly onto a cassette tape from the original audience sound source released by the long-established analog label “Trade Mark Of Quality.” The recording date and time is that the vinyl recorded the 2nd show at “Roundhouse” on March 14th, the final performance of the 1971 UK farewell tour, which was held before moving to the south of France for tax purposes. This time, we intentionally reproduced this sound source without any equalization processing, adjusting only the slight sound pressure and speed due to uneven playback of the cassette tape.
