Description
From the 1982 European tour, Italy’s 2 days of Turin performances held on July 11th and 12th are recorded with the longest and highest sound quality ever. First of all, the first day performance recorded on Discs 1 & 2 is the 11th. This is actually really amazing. In the past, we released the 3-disc analog version “Mundialito ’82” and the VGP version “Mundialito 1982” produced from the same tape source. Ultra-superb sound with outstanding sensation. Although it is the same master as these two previously released types, the sound quality has improved dramatically. It’s a small thing, but for some reason you can hear a crackling noise like a needle in a quiet place (the original info says it’s been digitized from the tape), but it’s more like a Gene Waka tape than an existing one. Perhaps it’s because I’m using it, I can feel an overwhelming difference in the scale and clarity of the sound. Let Me Go, which was cut on the VGP version, is recorded without cuts. Because the sound has a direct feel, the surrounding audience noise is also vividly picked up, and the sound is brought forward and clear, so it’s true that you can hear it, but anyway, listen to this. Fans will be greatly surprised by the sound quality, which will make you feel as if you have traveled back in time to the venue at the time.It is no exaggeration to say that the sound quality has improved by two ranks. The first day of the Turin performance in 1982, which was originally said to have good sound, was such an amazing sound in the master… Just listen to it and you’ll realize that I’m not exaggerating. At the end, there is also the “1812 Overture” that was not recorded on the VGP version but was included on the LP, but surprisingly, David Zard’s outro announcement that was not recorded on the longest LP take to date is also included (slightly You can listen to it (with a fade in) (it’s 40 seconds longer than the LP!). It is a master that has some problems here and there, such as the recording level of Under My Thumb at the beginning becoming unstable and noise coming in, but anyway, there are not many 1982 AUD recordings that are so clear and easy to listen to that the performance is on. , is definitely a must-listen for fans. Next is the second day, the 12th, which is recorded on disks 3 & 4. This is probably a performance that has hardly been made into a disc in the past, and although the sound is not as on as the first day, it is still a very high quality stereo audience recording. The freshness of the sound is outstanding, and compared to the first day when the sound pressure was too high, the sound image is milder and easier to listen to. The recording on the first day is so amazing that some people may feel it is boring at first, but there are not many sound sources recorded in 1982 that are so stable and clear. Although the original information did not credit the tape generator, there was no sense of tape deterioration, and it was obvious that it was a take that was quite close to the master. The sharpness of the high range is also perfect. If Discs 1 & 2 are the highest quality recordings with a rough mood, this one can be said to be a calm and excellent recording. On this day, Little T&A following the member introduction is also included. The outro was “1812 Overture” on the first day, but on the second day it was “Italian National Anthem”, which is familiar from the Naples performance. The sound of fireworks that continues to explode in a loud voice is recorded extremely clearly. (After that, you can also hear the outro call of a voice that seems to be Mick.)
