Description
On YouTube, as soon as the performance ends, a lot of high-quality shot videos are uploaded for each song, and you can enjoy the concert that just ended from a real perspective while being on the other side of the earth. We enjoy music every day in this ridiculous future society, but for some reason, in recent years, especially with regard to the Stones, not as many live recordings of the concert as before have been uploaded. The “NO FILTER TOUR” is a hot topic as it resumes after a seven-month hiatus. Speaking of the first day of the Dublin performance on May 17th, it was a moment that fans around the world were waiting for, so it would not be surprising if more recordings were uploaded, but in fact, there are only a few, including the London Stadium performance. It seems that the situation has changed since the “50 & Counting Tour” and “14 On Fire” days, even though it was only a few years ago. (Instead, you can easily enjoy a lot of great videos, so it’s a good situation to share and enjoy information now.) Last fall’s No Filter Tour certainly had some great high-quality sound sources depending on the performance, but there were also many disappointing recordings that made me think, “Is this a recording from 2017?”, and I think both the store and the customers (= collectors) were somehow unsatisfied. Now, for the latest two performances in Dublin and London, fortunately, pretty good recordings have appeared (= uploaded) from the beginning, which is somehow reassuring. However, the sound is still not coming together. It’s a somewhat lonely situation, far from the exciting situation where you can make a fuss about “this is great” and “this is great” like the Japanese performance four years ago. Meanwhile, Dublin’s “2nd Source” was uploaded by IORR. It is said to be a recording from behind the “Gold Circle”, and it is quite good. The uploader wrote at the end, “In spite of a lot of beer dinking and walking Irish people I think this is a listenable recording.” It certainly seems like a recording of a game in a realistic and liberating environment, but it’s also well recorded. The cheers and choruses are loud, but songs like You Can’t Always Get What You Want, which feature an emotional chorus of the audience, are a must-listen for fans! It’s a great record. The texture of the sound is gentle on the ears, and it’s a very high-quality recording for a live recording. Honky Tonk Women and other songs are also impressive live takes. The sound balance is also good. It’s a great record for playing it as background music to simulate a concert experience. I recommend it.
