Description
The highest quality sound source of the Stones latest tour is now available! Audience recordings of such superb sound quality appeared immediately for the second performance of this “NO FILTER” tour. The audience album “CHICAGO 2019 1ST NIGHT” that captured the first day of Chicago had very good sound quality, but this time the level is even higher. After all, it’s similar to the voice of the band announcer when the Stones appeared! A wonderful recording condition that will convince you of the best sound quality just from that scene. Once the performance started… there was nothing more to say. On the second day in Chicago, the opening song was “Jumping Jack Flash,” and you would be overwhelmed by the explosive power of the intro played by Keith. The sound source of the pre-released “CHICAGO 2019 DAY 2” was an audience recording with a close sound image, but in that respect, this time’s sound source not only has a close sound image and excellent clarity, but it also causes great stress, especially when listening with headphones. There is almost no sound vibration. It’s a game. The already released version was also a good line in that Mick’s voice was captured nearby, but the totality that far exceeds that is wonderful. Not only his singing voice, but also the balance of his performance is well-recorded. However, this is an American concert, and there are times when you can hear the voices of people around you, but the main character of the sound image is the Stones’ performance. Since it is a really excellent audience recording, there was almost nothing to add at the time of release. Besides, today’s show is full of interesting things! First of all, I like the flow from “Bitch” to “Ride ’em on Down” in the first half of the live performance. Not only are both repertoires that were not featured on the first day, but the selection of two songs that get the engine going quickly is particularly effective for Keith. It was the same on the first day in Chicago, but if he can play and ride this much on the second day of the tour, I have high expectations for Keith this time. Maybe it was a good thing that I stopped wearing a bandana (lol). “Monkey Man”, which was generally reported to be “the first performance in a while”, is an undeniable blank performance. Mick either made a mistake at the end of the interlude, or the ending almost confused the band. “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” dispelled that sense of danger. After all, the effect of being played in this position is tremendous. From there, two songs that were performed on the B stage, which fit better in acoustic format than the first day in Chicago, were also better. In particular, “Play With Fire” has a wonderful simplicity that doesn’t make the vibraslap, also known as “Yosaku percussion” that exploded in Europe in 2017, stand out (though it’s better not to include it, haha). I don’t think there is a repertoire as accurate as this on the current B stage. The selection “Sweet Virginia” that continued from there was also wonderful. After all, the masterpiece scene on the second day in Chicago was when Keith mistakenly started playing “Midnight Rambler” when he was supposed to be playing “Paint It Black”! After all, I started playing with the two-capo guitar I used for “Paint It”, so the key was completely different. Still, Mick tries to sing in a different key just like “Starfucker” at Tokyo Dome in 1998, but as expected, this is a big issue, so the performance is interrupted. However, the scene where Mick stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Keith, who had made a big mistake, and followed him up in a friendly manner, saying, “It’s okay, it’s only the second day (of the tour),” made enthusiasts all over the world feel warm. It’s a thing. Incidentally, Ronnie was not able to standby the sitar guitar for “Paint It ~”, so the interruption was still necessary. Perhaps because of these happenings, the beginning of “Midnight Rambler” unfolds roughly. However, the performance soon became heated, and an intense performance that was completely different from the thrill of the first day in Chicago was performed. Throughout the show, the menu was quite different from the first day in Chicago, and from this point of view, the group’s “seriousness” in supporting Mick’s revival was conveyed with superb sound quality, and it is already one of the Stones’ representative names in 2019. Introducing the Audience Album! (Remastered memo) ★There is no need to make any adjustments because the sound quality is high, but I made a slight adjustment to the treble to make it sound a little better, but it was really a fine adjustment.
