Description
This time, we will introduce the EP “The Rolling Stones” released in January 1964 and “Five By Five” released in August 1964. As you all know, the former has the same title as their first album (released in April of the same year), but the contents are different. The latter is an EP recorded at Chess Studios in Chicago in June after the release of their first album. It is strange that the Stones have only released three EPs: “The Rolling Stones”, “Five By Five” and “got LIVE if you want it!”. This is in stark contrast to the Beatles, who released many EPs that were excerpts from albums or combinations of single songs. However, even though they only released three, all the songs were “included” on this EP, so it is no wonder that it has become an irresistible item for collectors. Currently, this EP is reproduced in a single box, but we have stuck to the original “sound” and reproduced it as much as possible using the finest discs. Of course, both discs used are original 1K open Decca double-sided matrix discs. With this item, you can enjoy the EPs “The Rolling Stones” and “Five By Five” in the original UK “sound”.
