Description
It goes without saying that Brown Sugar features Clapton. CARNIVAL was recorded in 1975 and is an outtake from Eric’s album NO REASON TO CRY. Members of the Stones participated. It was recorded in December 1970 at Olympic Sound Studio in London, while the Stones were recording “Sticky Fingers”. Two takes were recorded, and the take with Mick participating on vocals is a must-listen! CARNIVAL is the best master we have unearthed, the longest and the best sound quality! I don’t know if it’s true, but the way he slides can be heard by Mick Taylor. Clapton participated, and the whole slide? It’s also something? ? The coupling is Clapton + Stones, so it’s the Stones participation version of “CARNIVAL”. You can hear Mick’s vocals here, so he is definitely participating.
