Rolling Stones/Concert for the victims of the Nicaragua earthquake, CA, USA 1973

This album contains the concert held in Los Angeles on January 18, 1973 to raise funds for the victims of the Nicaragua earthquake. This album contains the Los Angeles performance on January 18, the first day of the tour. This day was a special performance called the “Nicaragua Earthquake Victims Relief Concert” held by the Stones to raise funds for the victims of the Nicaragua earthquake that occurred in December of the previous year, so the set list was different from the basic set list for the tour that followed, and it was special in that it included rare songs only for this day, such as “Route 66”, “It’s All Over Now”, “No Expectations”, and “Stary Cat Blues”. Of these rare songs, “It’s All Over Now” was the only one that was performed at the next Hawaii performance, but the arrangement on this day was different from the Hawaii performance, the studio version, and the arrangement at the “Sunday Night At The London Palladium” in 1967, starting with a riff reminiscent of Freddie King’s “Going Down”, which Mick and Keith each covered solo in later years. This is the only bootleg audience recording from this concert, and it has been released under a number of titles since the days of analog LP, including “Winter Tour 1973.” Unfortunately, the encore song “Midnight Rambler” is not included, and the final song “Street Fighting Man” fades out at the end, but this covers most of the main part of the concert.
