Description

The Stones’ first South American tour, held just before their 1995 Japan tour, was recorded in Chile on February 19th in a mono soundboard recording with the clearest sound quality. This tour has a wealth of soundboard recordings, including television broadcasts, and this is a heretical sound source. It was heard on the VGP “Southern Quotations From Chile”, but in addition to being a radio broadcast with a lower sound quality than the 1995 soundboard recordings, some songs were incomplete, the last “Jumping Jack Flash” was not recorded, and the finale was a problematic sound source with periodic Spanish announcements at the beginning of some songs, and although it was a soundboard, it had a strong impression of being hidden by the sound sources of other performances at this time. After all, the biggest factor was that it was a dull sound source for a 1995 soundboard, but this year an upgraded version of this sound source suddenly appeared, and this title was recorded based on that. What we would like you to pay attention to is the dramatic improvement in content and sound quality. First of all, the sound quality has improved remarkably to an exceptionally clear state. Since the previous version was a bit muffled, you will be absolutely satisfied with the upper feeling that realized the clarity as if the fog had completely cleared. This time, the sound is still mono, but with such clear sound quality, I think you can enjoy a different kind of power than a normal stereo sound board. In addition, this time, all the songs from the live performance on the day were recorded in full for the first time, and this made the last “Jumping Jack Flash” its first appearance. Of course, there is no fade-out or fade-in that occurred in the previous sound source, so it is an undisputed upper version that can be listened to with confidence without feeling any stress in both sound quality and content. Of course, the announcement of that low voice will appear again this time, and there are many places where the intervals between songs were cut during broadcast. However, the sound quality is so clear that such points will not be a concern. The only part missing in this version is the member introduction, and we have filled in the previous sound source and adjusted it to a complete state. Naturally, the sound quality will change in that area, but this editing will also allow you to experience the upper quality of this sound source. In addition, there is a surprisingly rare topic that “Rock and a Hard Place” from the 1989 album “STEEL WHEELS” was regularly played on this South American tour. Since it was a performance from a time when many support members were added, the surprisingly sure and tight performance exudes an atmosphere that is typical of the Stones at that time. The fact that this repertoire was in the category of the latest songs at the time was also a factor in the tight performance, but for some reason it was not played after the Japanese performance, so it was a rare repertoire for a short period of time. And the fact that a large number of songs from the new album “VOODOO LOUNGE” at that time were played is also rare now. “You Got Me Rocking” is a repertoire that the Stones still like to play, but it is unlikely that other songs such as “I Go Wild” and “Out Of Tears” will be played by the current Stones. After nearly two decades, the forgotten soundboard recording of the 1995 Stones will be re-released as an amazing upgraded version. Please re-examine the greatness of this sound source!
