From a label that is a must-have for Stones fans, the well-known super masterpiece “Live’r Than You’ll Ever Be” is released in a coupling format of two performances, one in the afternoon and one in the evening, at Oakland Coliseum on November 9, 1969. First of all, the main part of this release is the stereo matrix sound source of the second show used for the production of the personal label “NITE OWL PRODUCTION”. This sound source is the TMOQ source of disc:4 of “Live’r Than You’ll Ever Be” (DAC-116) on the left channel, the alternate source of disc:2 on the right channel, and the Bill Graham soundboard source of disc 4 synchronized with the two acoustic tracks “LIVE WITH ME”. All of these were taken from DAC’s “LIVER THAN YOU’LL EVER BE COMPLETE EDITION”. In addition, excellent audience sources recorded under completely different conditions are skillfully synchronized, and although the sound tendencies are similar, because the contents were recorded at different positions, the progress of modern technology has made it possible to perfectly synchronize two tape sources with different tape speeds, making it possible to create a realistic pseudo-stereo effect that has never been seen before. In addition, since the producer had concealed in the production notes that the sound source used was a full diversion from the DAC, this announcement will be the definitive version among many other releases. In addition, the opening MC of the second show was not captured on the original tape, and this release is a take from the first show, just like the original TMOQ LP. By the way, although the first show was a masterpiece released as “POT BOILER”, it is currently unavailable, so the sound source of the same board was the latest remaster in 2018, and since the original master was a sound source with high sound quality and did not require a particularly elaborate remastering process, only some dropout correction processing was applied.
