Description
The 5th installment of the popular 2021 “NO FILTER Tour” multi-camera series has been decided. This work was filmed on the first day of the Inglewood performance on October 14, 2021. This footage will also be released as part of “LOS ANGELES 2021 1ST NIGHT: THE VIDEO”, but since it is a very popular series, we want as many people as possible to enjoy it. If you have noticed this article, you may already know, but let’s start with an introduction to the series (please skip if you already know). Along with the release of the recording, the 2021 “NO FILTER Tour” is also a hot topic for its multi-camera edited audience shots produced by enthusiasts. It has been a long time since anyone can take pictures with their smartphones, and the work style that was born from this era is “multi-camera audience”. After the show is over (actually even during the performance), audience shots for each song are overflowing, and they are collected and put together into a video work that switches perspectives like official footage or TV broadcasts. This has been a standard technique for many years, but with technological advances, the quality is improving year by year. The cutting edge of this is the Stones’ “NO FILTER Tour.” Almost all performances are being produced and released in large numbers. These multi-camera works are very popular in our shop, and this is the fifth installment. The quality is the same as the previous series…no, even better. Since it is a multi-camera, it cannot be expressed as “the angle is ○○” or “the distance is ◇◇”, but this time there are more beautiful angles than ever. Basically, it is organized around Mick, but its variety is exquisite. There are super close-ups with a runway in front of you, medium-distance shots where Mick is carrying a wall of crowds on his back, long-distance shots that swallow the spectacle of the huge venue with almost an aerial shot, screen shots that take the footage of a professional shoot, etc. … The breadth is also being refined. And perhaps the producers’ experience has increased as they have worked on more and more works, and they have even begun to feel familiar with the work. For example, the length of one cut. Although various viewpoints are used lavishly in line with the mood of the song, the rush to compete for the number of views is fading, and you can even feel the leisure to look at the good cuts carefully. Of course, the number of images varies depending on the song, but there are many songs where the contrast between long and short images is effective, and you look back and realize later that there were actually a lot of cuts. Even more important is the sound. At the beginning of the tour, there were works where there was no through recording and the sound switched on a song-by-song basis, but this work has a superb continuous sound recording. Moreover, the sound is better than ever! Since the position of the multi-camera changes frequently, it is not uncommon for a sense of discomfort to arise between the image and the sound if the sound is too distant. However, this work has a very thick core and is extremely on. Since there is no sense of distance in the first place, it fits any scene (there are some parts where the sound feels far away, but this is thought to be due to the taper facing a different direction rather than a separate recording. It’s a shame that this is the only part that feels strange!). Such a multi-camera depiction is the full show on the first day of Inglewood, which was said to be the freshest (at the moment) in the 2021 version of the “NO FILTER Tour”. We also introduce the second performance shot of the same venue, “LOS ANGELES 2021 2ND NIGHT: THE VIDEO”, so let’s organize the set by comparing them here. Songs that overlap with “LOS ANGELES 2021 2ND NIGHT: THE VIDEO” on the second day: 19th Nervous Breakdown, Tumbling Dice, You Can’t Always Get What You Want, Living In A Ghost Town, Start Me Up, Honky Tonk Women, Miss You, Midnight Rambler, Paint It Black, Sympathy For The Devil, Jumping Jack Flash, Gimme Shelter, (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction, Keith Corner: Connection Songs that are different from the second day: Others: Let’s Spend the Night Together, Rocks Off (★), Get Off of My Cloud (★), Ruby Tuesday (★), Keith Corner: Slipping Away *Note: The above is based on set information up to the Las Vegas performance (11/6). The “★” mark indicates songs that will be appearing for the first time in 2021. …And so it goes. The opening is the freshest of all. There is no “Street Fighting Man”, which is a staple of this year, and the show starts with “Let’s Spend The Night Together”. “SoFi Stadium” is the only venue in 2021 where two performances will be held at the same venue. That’s why it was expected that the set would be a curveball, but even so, it’s great because it has a strong impact and fits perfectly. In addition, there are many first-time numbers on this day, such as “Rocks Off”, “Get Off of My Cloud”, and “Ruby Tuesday”. In addition, it is a unique show that is nicknamed “BETWEEN THE BUTTONS Night” along with Keith Corner’s “Connection”. After the grand finale, a news program reporting on the tour is also included as a bonus. This is the latest in the multi-camera series that allows you to enjoy the first day of Inglewood from every perspective. The order of the performances has shifted because it takes time to edit, but it’s wonderful that the time is firmly reflected in the quality. The more you wait, the more beautiful it is, and the excitement is also a real-time feeling of 2021. SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, CA, USA 14th October 2021 AMAZING SHOT!!! (142:05) 1. Intro 2.
