Description

The 2021 version of the “NO FILTER Tour” has attracted worldwide attention and joy with each performance. The latest report, a full live album, has been decided to be released. This work is infused with “October 14, 2021: Inglewood performance”. It is a superb audience recording that keeled rot on the first day of two consecutive performances at “SoFi Stadium”. As you may know if you have noticed this article, the current “NO FILTER Tour” is blessed with video, but the recording is difficult, which is a rare situation. The first day of the St. Louis performance, where the whole world held its breath, was a masterpiece recording, but it calmed down at once after that. Perhaps due to the influence of the new coronavirus disaster, European tapers have been unable to enter the venue, and recordings have decreased dramatically. The dryness has spread all over the world, and even live broadcast sound sources with poor sound quality and edited versions that are patched together one by one are now highly valued. However, the situation is gradually improving. The other day, the fourth performance’s superb press album “NASHVILLE 2021” was also very well received. This work is a full recording of the best sound, which can be called the “fifth performance and the third masterpiece” following Nashville. In fact, this work is heartwarming just by the good sound that flows out. What is most wonderful is the core that is on and powerful and does not feel distant. The guitar, piano, drums, and Mick’s vocals are super clear. Even when listening with headphones, the hall sound components are faintly transparent, giving the core a gloss and spectacle, and not hiding the details at all. Occasionally, you can hear the cheers of the nearby customers, so you will never forget the feeling of an audience recording, but the listening experience is like an FM broadcast. However, it was not perfect. When I thought that a particularly loud voice was entered in “Start Me Up”, the sound quality suddenly deteriorated afterwards. In fact, this is because the taper slipped on a floor wet with beer or something. It seems that he also fell over in a big way, and people around him asked him, “Are you okay?” and the microphone fell in the wrong direction. Of course, Taper immediately sat down in his seat and adjusted his settings, but the sound still dropped for about a minute. What a pity! It’s a great recording, and such troubles also create a realistic sense of presence. Such an “almost superb” sound depicts a full show with a delicious first appearance song in the fifth performance of the tour. Let’s organize the set based on the latest data here. Fixed songs: 19th Nervous Breakdown/Tumbling Dice/You Can’t Always Get What You Want/Living In A Ghost Town/Start Me Up/Honky Tonk Women/Miss You/Midnight Rambler/Paint It Black/Sympathy For The Devil/Jumping Jack Flash/Gimme Shelter/(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction Daily songs: Keith Corner: Connection/Slipping Away Others: Let’s Spend the Night Together/Rocks Off (★)/Get Off of My Cloud (★)/Ruby Tuesday (★) *Note: The above is based on the set information up to the Minneapolis performance (10/24). Songs marked with “★” are songs that will be appearing for the first time in 2021. …And so it goes. While keeping “Connection,” which was also a hot topic at the previous “NASHVILLE 2021,” three songs were performed for the first time in 2021 on this day. Even so, “Rocks Off” and “Get Off of My Cloud” were performed two years ago (only once or twice), but “Ruby Tuesday” has been performed for the first time in five years. This is the first revival since the “AMERICA LATINA OLE Tour”. Moreover, these three songs have not been performed since then. (For now) they are limited numbers only for this day. It is a pity that there was a problem with “Start Me Up”. Taper himself said, “I wish someone would patch it in with another recording,” but other than that one minute, it is a superb recording of the press class. This is an excellent full live album that gives you a real-time report of the tour and a sense of the recovered recording situation.
